Bernard Lamar Williams was born on February 20, 1961 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at Broward General Hospital to Dorothy L. Short and the late Clarence Carlisle.
Bernard (Big B) Williams was a hard working man (Jack of All Trades). Bernard was more than a son, he was a father, grandfather, brother, the best uncle, and friend. Bernard enjoyed playing dominoes, cooking on the grill, and enjoyed his whole family. Bernard put up a good fight, but God needed him more; he was called home on July 8, 2026.
He leaves to mourn his Mother: Dorothy L. Short; two daughters: Tiffany Williams and Bernesha Williams; two granddaughters: Takenja Thornton and Jaylen Wyatt, one grandson: Legend Palmer; the love of his life: Sherri McGill; four brothers: Michael Thomas, Anthony Thomas, Willie Carlisle, and the late Clarence Carlisle; six sisters: Janice Doe, Veronica Northcut, Yolanda Lemon, Renee Bushanan, Cassandra Evans, and Elizabeth Collins; one step-brother: Sapp Lemon; two stepsons: Malvin Singleton and Tevin Malcom; one stepdaughter: Tilea Malcom, a very special great niece: Zaniya (Mama) Landers, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
