Celia Modesta Ugarte Oyanguren

Celia Modesta Ugarte Oyanguren, 88, departed this life on January 28, 2021.  Her memorial will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021 from 10am until 12 p.m.

Born in Abancay, Peru and lived in Margate Florida, Celia lived a beautiful life. Always caring for her family, friends and people she could help. She was a passionate singer and a great cook. She was a very positive soul.

She met her husband, Amadeo Garcia in Lima, Peru in 1955.  Celia and Amadeo got married in April 1956.  They were married for 64 wonderful years.  She was a lovely mother to her five children, Blanca, Denis, Edith, Wernher and Roxana. She also had many grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved very much.

We are thankful for Celia’s love of life and all of the years we shared with her. God we send her to you today in honor of the good that we saw in her and the love that we felt from her. Please give us the strength to leave her in your care, as she will journey onto an eternal life through Jesus Christ.
