Cherie Suzanne Allen

Cherie Suzanne Allen, 70, affectionately known as “Cherie baby” ( like the song ) of Yaphank, NY passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025 . Cherie was born on March 21, 1955 in Flint, Michigan. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. 

Cherie is survived by her daughter Stacey and husband Brian and son Christopher.  She has two beautiful grandchildren, Peter and Samantha. She is further survived by her sisters Aimee and Lori and Lori’s husband Jimmy; she had many nieces and nephews and great nephews and nieces. She is also survived by her step sister Suzanne. 

She found great joy in working as a school bus driver for over 36 years.  She will be remembered for her strength in overcoming adversity.  She had an exceptional long term memory and was lucky to have lived all across this country during her lifetime.  She was extremely generous, especially when it came to her grandchildren.  She will be deeply missed!
