Felicia L. Davis was born on January 2, 1967, to Lizzie Mae Washington Davis and Sylvester Davis. Felicia became a born-again Christian and was baptized at an early age. She was a member of Calvary Chapel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where her faith grew as she walked with the Lord. She was a graduate of Boyd Anderson High School and Florida Memorial College.
Felicia retired as a Job Coach working for the YMCA and Broward County Public School System for over thirty years. She dedicated herself to students with special needs and their families during and after work hours, offering guidance, encouragement, and support to help them develop life skills. Felicia was patient, compassionate, and had an unwavering commitment that impacted many lives within her community as she fed the homeless on weekends. Felicia was a devoted and loving mother, daughter, cherished sister, and loyal friend, and in countless ways she touched the lives of others. Her favorite artists were Tasha Cobbs, William McDowell, and Yolanda Adams.
Felicia was welcomed into Heaven on the morning of Friday, March 20, 2026, where she now rests in her eternal home.
Felicia leaves to cherish her memories, her two daughters, Tanisha Davis and Iman Taylor; her three sisters, Tani Williams (Willie Williams), Sylvia Davis, and Rhenna Brooks; her brothers, Darryl Books, Sylvester (Banji) Davis, Jr., Sylvester Davis, III; her nephews, Dylan Burton and Ryan Burton; her aunties, Sandy Ross, Gloria Crockett (Theron Crockett), Geraldine Daise, Mary Louise Lovett, and Catherine (Deann) Thornton-Ruben; her uncle, Charles Washington; her best friends, Stephanie Underwood and Theresa Bentley; her adopted aunties, Verna Johnson, Eunice Coles, and Deborah Green. Felicia was preceded in death by her uncles, Julius Washington and James Young; and aunties, Nellie Washington and Geneva Solomon. Felicia leaves a host of relatives and friends.
