Lady Claudette Imhoff, nee Jemmott, was born on the 21st of April, 1953 to the parents Adolphus Stoute and Euleene Jemmott. She was the fifth of seven children. While still in High School, she came to know Jesus Christ, not just as Saviour but Lord. And from then, there was no turning back.
Claudette attended Assemblies of God Bible School in Georgetown, Guyana from 1969 to 1971, earning her Diploma in Christian Education.
In 1974, Claudette accepted the plea by Winston Imhoff to lead her into Holy Matrimony, and together they became ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This took them as far as the interior of Guyana where they planted one of the fastest growing Assemblies of God Church in Guyana.
Claudette bore four children: two boys and two girls. She taught them the ways of the Lord, without compromising.
When Claudette, along with her husband, opened a Bakery and Grocery in Georgetown, Guyana in 1992, Claudette became the back-store manager who ensured that all was well done and ready for the front store.
In 1997, Claudette, along with her husband Winston and two daughters Chika and Alexis, migrated to the USA. The two girls subsequently returned to Guyana: one to study Nursing and the other to marry the love of her life.
Claudette worked alongside her husband Winston in Inner-City ministry in Norfolk, Virginia and then in pasturing Hands of Life Worship Center Church of God in Miramar, Florida.
She lived a life dedicated to God. Her utmost desire has always been ‘to see Jesus for herself.’ On the 19th of July, 2020; she kissed this old-world goodbye to be received in the Arms of the Lord she loved. May her soul rest in peace.
