Frankie Spells

In Loving Memory of Evangelist Frankie Spells; August 4, 1942 – May 3, 2025.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Evangelist Frankie Spells, who departed this life on May 3rd at the age of 82. She was preceded in death last year by her devoted husband, Billie Spells.

Evangelist Frankie Spells was a deeply caring and selfless woman whose love touched the lives of everyone she met. She devoted her life to her family, raising her children with strength and compassion, guiding her grandchildren with    patience and warmth, and joyfully helping to care for her great-grandchildren. Her home was a place of comfort, laughter, and unconditional love.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, unwavering support, and the way she made everyone feel seen and valued. Whether through a warm meal, gentle advice, or a quiet presence during difficult times, she had a way of making life a little better for those around her.

She found joy in Working at Holy Cross Hospital for 10 years as a custodian. She became a member of Mason Temple Church of God in Christ. She was eventually ordained as an Evangelist and the Mother of the Church under the Leadership of Pastor Mack Brown.

She is survived by Her Sister Winifred Jones of Delaware and Brother James West of Virginia Siblings Preceded by Death Anna Lou West of Pompano Beach FL, Mable West of     Trenton New Jersey, of Willie Jean, Claude West of Maryland, Betty West of Maryland, Mary West of Maryland. Two daughters: Joan Seymour Ellis (Terrell Ellis) of Fort Lauderdale, Gail Dunning of Fort Lauderdale FL. Son John Seymore of Fort Lauderdale FL, Son’s George T Seymore & Lea Marie Seymore of Fort Lauderdale FL, Angela Seymore of Orlando Florida, George Jr. Seymore St Louis Mo; Her Best Friend & Sister Betty Brown of Fort Lauderdale FL.

She was preceded in death by Daughters Twins Able Marline Pompano Beach FL, Marva Elaine Bowen Berlin Maryland, Corrine Seymore Fort Lauderdale, FL, Pamela Joyce West of Fort Lauderdale FL, Thomas George Seymore of Pompano Beach, FL, George Leon Seymore of Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Grandchildren: Joel West 3 Kids, Latasha Boyd 7 Kids, 3 GGG, Christina Bowen 2 Kids 1 GGG, Robert Dunning 5 Kids 1GGG, Lekisha West 5 Kids 5GGG, Katrina Green 6 Kids 2 GGG, Steven Bell 5 kids, Antonio Seymore 3 Kids, Christopher Seymore 1 Kid, Pamela West, 4 Kids 1 GGG, Nia Seymore 1GG, Twanna Nottage 6 Kids, Robert Jackson 1 Kid, Leonie Seymore, NY, less Seymore 2 Kids, Latoya Martin 2 Kids all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts forever.

Though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the time we shared and the love she gave so freely. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of strength, family, and grace.
