Glorindo Todavia Atangan

Glorindo Todavia Atangan, 78 years of age, passed on
Saturday, October 1, 2022 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
after a valiant battle from injuries sustained during a
car accident.

Glorindo was born on July 19, 1944 in Naic, Cavite,
Philippines to the late Eleuterio and Susana Atangan.
He was the oldest of four children, one preceded him
in death. He graduated from Western Colleges with a
Bachelor’s degree in Education and worked as an
English teacher at a local high school.

Glorindo met Zinnia Flores in Subic Bay Naval Base,
Philippines. They married in 1972 and four children
were born from this union. The family migrated to
Miami, Florida in 1995 to pursue the American dream.
Glorindo, whose nickname is “Lindo”, was a devoted
husband and father. He was an avid historian who enjoyed
cooking Filipino food, watching sports, singing
Elvis Presley songs, and most importantly, telling lots
of jokes. He truly enjoyed making people laugh. He
will be deeply missed.

Glorindo leaves behind his spouse Zinnia Atangan; his
children Norman (Izzy) Atangan, Joel (Kelly) Atangan,
Mildred (Ron) Esmao, Melvin (Rochelle) Atangan; his
grandchildren Jasmine Atangan, Sage Atangan, Scarlett
Esmao, Roslyn Atangan, Raelynn Atangan; and
his siblings Freddy Atangan, and Roberto Atangan.
