In Loving Memory of James Strong

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James (Jimmy) Strong, a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, who left this world surrounded by love on December 13, 2024.

Jimmy was a man of boundless kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to his family. Born August 14, 1964, Jimmy lived a life filled with passion, generosity, and joy. He had an unmatched talent for bringing people together, whether through his love of fishing, the soulful tunes he cherished, or the art he created with his own hands.

Jimmy’s love for life was deeply reflected in the relationships he nurtured. Jimmy was a loving brother to Christina Halverson and Jerry Strong as well as Jeffery O’Neil and John strong who have since passed on. He was a devoted husband to Tammy Ewing, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, partnership, and laughter. Together, they raised four beautiful daughters—Melissa, Tamica, Cynthia, and Tiffany— and who all carry forward his legacy of love, strength, and resilience.

Jimmy was also the proud grandfather of eight cherished grandchildren: Muyhi, Leah, Jordyn, Zoey, Sapphire, Sahara, Chelsea, and Valentina. He adored each of them and took great pride in their accomplishments, always offering his wisdom and warmth to guide them.

As a brother and a friend, Jimmy was a source of comfort and encouragement to all who knew him. He had an infectious spirit that made every moment in his presence memorable. Whether he was casting a line by the water, listening to his favorite music, or painting his visions, Jimmy had an extraordinary ability to find beauty in the simplest things.

Jimmy will be remembered for his unwavering love, his gentle heart, and his ability to light up any room. He taught us to cherish every moment, love deeply, and always be true to ourselves.

Though our hearts ache with his loss, we find comfort in knowing that his legacy lives on in the lives he touched so profoundly. His memory will forever be a beacon of light, guiding us in times of darkness and reminding us to celebrate life as he did.

Rest in peace, Jimmy. You were truly one of a kind, and you will forever remain in our hearts.
