Born in Fitzgerald, Georgia and lived in Miami, Florida, Marjorie lived a full life in service to others. Caring always for those in need was a calling God placed on her life, and for this she was a faithful servant. This led to her becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was a passionate bowler and a great cook who passed her skills on to her family. Whenever trouble came, she would always say, “This too shall pass”. Although she was a mother of 4 children, she nurtured many others. Through her lifetime, she rendered guidance, support and love to anyone who crossed her path.
She leaves to mourn a devoted partner Namon Banks, a devoted daughter Patricia Vecenty, a son Romas Dixon, Jr, and a sister Lillie Mincey. She was preceded in death by sons, Larry Dixon and Earl Dixon. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family sincerely thanks Broward Funeral Choices – Funeral Home and Chaplain Marvin Clark.
An Angel Lived Among Us, a gift from God above. She showered us with kindness and shared with us her Love.
