Wilfredo unexpectedly passed away on July 29, 2023 at 66 years old in South Florida.
As a child, he liked to play outside and let free his rambunctious nature with his seven siblings. This translated to his adulthood and he was known for his playful, energetic, and unique curly-haired personality. He prided himself as a technician, but nothing could make him prouder than being a loving and wonderful father to his children. He is survived by thirteen children and eight grandchildren who have inherited his love for traditional Colombian Vallenato music, dedication to family, and perseverance.
His strong work ethic and desire to take care of his family motivated him to overcome many life challenges and “conquer over evil” as he liked to say. As a devoted believer in God and Jesus Christ, his family takes comfort in knowing he is at rest and at peace with the Lord above. His family loves and misses him dearly but will never forget the everlasting impact he will have on all their lives. As Wilfredo would say, “¡y colorín, colorado, este cuento se ha acabado!”
